Ultra fast infrared temperature measurement

The Photrix infrared pyrometers from Luxtron can measure temperatures from as low a 65°C at speeds upto 1000hz.
They offer unmatched speed and precision due to superior signal to noise ratios.
The Photrix uses shorter shorter wavelength detectors that minimize the effect of emissivity errors and improve accuracy of the measurements. The Photrix also offers ambient temperature compensation to combat drift for unmatched longterm stability and reproducibility for long process cycle applications like crystal growth.
A standard Photrix system includes the sensor electronics with anti-reflective coated lens, the communication interface module (CIM), RS-232 interface cable, universal power supply and the TemperaSure™ data acquisition and graphing interface software.

Dual Waveband Thermal Imaging Camera

IMPAC Infrared has launched the new M7604 Thermal Imaging Camera.
This industry first dual wavelength camera offers the user the standard benefits of a high performance long wavelength thermal imaging camera, plus the option to have a specially selected waveband of either 3.9µm or 5µm.
The 3.9µm waveband is ideal for looking through flames into hot furnaces etc, whilst the 5µm waveband is used for the measurement of the surface of glass above 200°C.
The M7604 is a high performance thermal imaging camera aimed at the professional thermographer who recognises the need for a quality instrument.

Thermal Imaging Camera used at Airport to Check for Swine Flu

Thermal Imaging Cameras such as the IVN 780-P from IMPAC Infrared are now being installed at airports to carry out live checking of arrivees for fever symptoms.
The 320 x 240 pixel array camera gives excellent image resolution and is ideal for this application.
Using the on board Isotherm feature, people with higher than normal temperaures are quickly and easily identified.
This is a very cost effective way to screen passengers, requiring minimal equipment.
